Chicago Boxing Club offers a Youth Training
Program for youths ranging from ages 8-18. The program trains each member while paying close
attention to their age and skill level. Chicago Boxing Club youth training is designed to provide the opportunity for
every youth member to improve his or her athletic fitness and strength while raising self-esteem. Campers will learn
discipline, boxing exercise techniques, and burn off energy in a controlled environment. Member safety is a priority.
Hours of the youth program are Monday through Friday, 3:30pm to
5:30pm.
Cost: $40 monthly, plus one time $50 initiation per
family.

What to Bring: Each member should dress in t-shirt, shorts, and
gym shoes. Boxing gloves will be provided.

Trainers: Chicago Boxing Club will provide trainers experienced teaching youths the
beginners skills of boxing. All camp activities will be overseen by Rick Ramos, boxing coach, trainer
and partner of Chicago Boxing Club. Rick's coaching style emphasizes counter punching, angles and speed.
A former amateur from the Bridgeport neighborhood in Chicago,
Rick boxed out of the Old Neighborhood Italian American Club, and was one of the first Latinos to fight for the Club. Rick
realizes his dream by partnering in Chicago Boxing Club in his native Bridgeport neighborhood. Rick currently serves as a boxing coach for De LaSalle High School.
